About Me
Hi, I’m Phaedra (pronounced Fay-druh).
I work with individuals who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or trying to make sense of their experiences and emotions. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling out of balance, counseling can be a space to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
I support LGBTQ+ individuals and families, women and mothers, and those working through complex or strained family relationships, including estrangement. I’m also interested in working with adolescents and emerging adults as they navigate identity, relationships, and the transition into adulthood.
Part of my growing focus includes understanding and supporting individuals who have experienced religious or spiritual trauma, as well as those who are exploring what healing and meaning look like for them now. I am pursuing certification in somatic and integrative health approaches and how they connect to mental health.
My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in curiosity. I believe meaningful change happens when we have space to explore our experiences openly and without judgment, and when we feel supported in doing so.
I value a whole-person approach to healing and am continuing to expand my training in integrative mental health, exploring how factors like nutrition, lifestyle, and stress impact emotional well-being.
Temperance & Bloom reflects the vision of my future counseling practice - one centered on balance, growth, and intentional living. At this time, I am completing my clinical training as a counseling intern at The Healing Collective, where I provide counseling services under professional supervision.
